Fairy Favorite

Afternoon all.
I hope you are having a good Bank Holiday weekend - even if it is a little grey.
I was just having a little sort through my LOTV stamps, to see what I had, in preparation for the new releases tomorrow, when I came across this lovely fairy that I had stamped a while ago. It seemed a shame not to colour her, and enter her in a challenge or few.
So here goes;
Critter Sketch - flowers and purple
Passion for Promarkers - anything goes
Cupcake Crafts - summer delights
Stampin' for the Weekend - make someone smile
PaperPlay - up in the air
and finally
Crafty Creations - favorite stamp
:o)

Birthday Cat

Hello Blogland.
Don't fall off your seats folks but I have finally managed to make a card.
I am still having problems stamping as I don't have much sensation in my hands, but since I have some feeling back compared to before, I did manage to do some decoupage, so at least that's a start.
I am going to ease myself back in with 5 challenges :o)
Cute Card Thursday - no designer papers
Creative Card Crew - pink and green
Quixotic Challenge - emboss it
A Spoonful of Sugar - celebration card
Creative Craft Challenge - ribbons and bows
I hope you like ;o)

Cupcake Joy

Afternoon all.
Just a quick posting to say a huge thank you to my friend Eirwen, who sent me this delicious box of cupcakes yesterday to cheer me (and my boys) up.
How well does this lady know me - pink and cakes all in one hit, what could be better.
Thank you Honey.
Thanks again, for all the kind and lovely emails and cards, my super friends keep sending - I'm missing you all and can't wait to get crafting again.
Also a big sorry to all the ladies on my course at Wickford next Saturday, I am so sorry I have had to cancel again - but I am really hopeful that this will be the last one, and I'll be back to torment you all really soon - so make sure you've got your rulers ready.
Big Hugs Sxx

Thank You

Just a quick posting - sorry no cards yet - to say thank you for all the lovely emails and cards I have been sent over the past few weeks, I really do appreciate them.
The latest news is, that the Doctors have decided I have sarcoidosis, which is an inflammation of the lungs, which shows itself as all the lovely swellings and blotches I have at the mo on my legs and arms. I have been really lucky though, and get to go and see the specialist next Wednesday, who will hopefully sort me quickly. In the mean time , I'll just keep taking the steroids ;o).
Hopefully I'll be back up and crafting really soon.
Thanks again for all the lovely messages.
Hugs Sharon

Tasty

Afternoon all.

Sorry for not posting again yesterday, things are not running too smoothly at the mo. The Doctor has decided I have streptoccal septicaemia and something else that I can't even pronounce properly let alone spell, so I am supposed to be sat on my bum with my legs elevated - but thats just too boring. Trouble is though, that I am having trouble crafting, as I can't keep jumping up, just to get this and that. Anyhow, enough grumping, and down to a challenge or three.
This card was designed for a class a taught a little while ago, but seemed to fit nicely into these three challenges. The stamps are from an Inkadinkadoo set.
Charisma cardz - sweet treats
and
Totally Gorjuss - pink and green

In 2 Crafting DT Card

Afternoon all.
Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday, but have a small issue that I have blood poisoning in my knees, and yesterday, ideas just didn't happen, well actually not much at all happened.
Anyhow, today's card is my DT card for the next In 2 Crafting sketch challenge, which starts around the 15th, I think.
As I didn't post yesterday, I had to use it to fit a few other challenges, just to get my fix and cheer myself up. Plus, this is one of the new Lili of the Valley bear stamps, that I bought whilst at Ally Pally, and I thought it was about time to give her a go.
So, today's challenges are;
My Time To Craft - Toooo cute
Cupcake Craft - buttons
Pile It On - cuddly
Crafty Angels - one for the girls
Critter Sketch - critter
and
The Secret Crafter - 3 embellishments, 2 designer papers, and 1 image

Bumble

Afternoon all.
Well I have survived small persons party this morning, and thought I'd quickly upload this card, whilst he is at another party.
The bear on this card is from the Toffee Bear CD, which I adore, as you can print off a card kit sheet, which gives you 1/2 a sheet of backing paper and 1/2 a sheet of decoupage.
I'd like to enter it into just two challenges;
Just Scraps - shades of yellow
and
Just Cute Bears - multifold card
;o)

One Cup or Two

What a day!!!!
It started at 3.00am with small person wanting to know if he could open his birthday pressies, only to be told by his very grumpy mother, that the birthday bunny doesn't deliver until after 6. Anyhow with a little persuasion he went back to bed, until 5.45am. After a quick cuddle we got up at just after 6, and very excitedly unwrapped pressies.
Oh to be 7 again, Toy Story Lego is fab. Shame he had to go to school, as that meant I had to stop building.
Anyhow, the day was fab, with two lovely friends spending the day crafting, and chatting - which actually means they made cards, and I just chatted.
Matthew had the choice of what he wanted for tea, so we had Auntie Kerry nuggets - she works at the local Pizza Island - another fab plan, as I didn't have to cook!!!!
So, I decided to use my gained cooking time productively, and made this card ready for Daniel, who is one of Matthew's friends, (using a freebie digi stamp from Dustin Pike), as it's his party tomorrow. (Joy, only 3 parties this weekend - the children have a fair better social life than me).
I am entering it in;
Digital Tuesday Challenge - a toast to you
Dare You To Digi Stamp - anything goes
The Creative Cottage - food and drink
and

Cycling Along

Evening all.
What a day. I made a Roman blind this morning, so have nearly caught up on the sewing front - famous last words, as loads will come in now. Hubby has finished all the gloss painting in the lounge, and I even had time to wrap tiddlers pressies for his birthday tomorrow, whilst he was still at school -result.
Since then, I have been playing around with some Magnolia images, trying to get Tilda's hair to look shiny - I think I may nearly be there with this attempt, but I still need lots more practise.
I'd like to enter this card in;
Crafty Catz - spots
The Pink Elephant - Mommy, I love you
and also
Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Here comes the sun!!!
Thanks for looking xx

Pink Tilda

Evening all.
This morning I was a good girl, and caught up with some of my curtain making jobs. So when the boys came in from school with their mates in tow, I decided the best place to go was my little craft room, for some R & R. For a change, I decided to go pink and girly, even though I was supposed to be making a card for my sons birthday on Friday - oh well, there's always tomorrow, and this was the result.
The challenges I am entering today are;
A Spoonful of Sugar - furry friends
Die Cut Dreams - Tilda in pink
Stamp With Fun - friends
Fab 'n' Funky - show us your fancy edge
ABC Challenge - T is for Thank You
and finally
I hope you like her :0)

Butterfly Accolade

Just a very quick post today, as I taught a class this morning and have another this evening.
This is the second card I have made for my Accolade class, same principle as yesterdays, just different pricking and windings.
Hope you like it ;o)
I'm entering this one in;
Charisma Cards - girly card with flowers

Accolade

Afternoon all.
I hope you have had a good bank holiday, and not worked too hard. I have had a lovely day - not sure about the children, though. Hubby took us on a tour of three local craft shops, and I must confess to buying some new goodies, along with some bits for my classes. Then we went to the pub for lunch, yes Michelle, it was little ones idea, so I haven't even got to cook tonight -hurray.
Yesterday and today I have been working on a class making Accolade cards. Basically, you prick out a pattern, and at each hole you thread on a sequin and a bead, then go back through the sequin and then the hole, so that the bead holds the sequin in place. Then, a metallic thread is wound round the sequins to form a pattern.
The challenges I am entering this first card in are;
Totally Gorjuss - in stitches
and
Incy Wincy Designs - anything goes

Snowflakes

It's Christmas time again.
This card has been made by stamping small snowflakes onto an acetate panel using white Stazon. The panel has then been mounted over different pieces of torn vellum and fixed in place with brads. Embossed and glittered snowflakes have been added down one side to complete the card.
I hope you like it :o)
Today's challenges are;
Bah! Humbug! - snowflakes
PaperPlay Challenge - pretty pastels
Quixotic Challenge - how distressing
and by no means least

My Boys

Afternoon.
I have had a fab afternoon pruning the jungle - I'm not sure whether I'm getting anywhere or not, but it's jolly good fun.
Anyway, I thought I'd post a scrapbook page for a change.
This is a picture of my two babies, feeding a very friendly cow at Wroxham Barns in Norfolk. I very rarely put any journalling on my pages but on this occasion I have written a Mummy moment memory on a tag, that is hidden behind the photo, so only the chosen few can read it.
I'm entering this page in;
One Stop Craft challenge - anything but ...
Allsorts - animal
and also
Truly Scrumptious - hidden message & sketch
:o)
